The Carriage House - Je-taime Tucson Wedding

July 26, 2017 Regina Frausto

This was my first time shooting a wedding at the Carriage House in Tucson. However this was no ordinary wedding, it was a styled shoot put together by two local creatives here in Tucson. I had the wonderful opportunity to join local photographers and creative professionals from the area. If you read my last post you know that this year I really wanted to focus on growing in areas that I haven’t given as much time and attention to. So when I heard about this I was very excited.

The Engagement Session

Flirty, Romantic, Intimate, In Love. These are some of the feelings I got when I was with these two. Their charisma was magical and I'm pretty sure everyone could feel it in the air. I couldn't have asked for a better couple. They were super nice, very easy and fun to work with and humble in nature. I seriously look forward to seeing their wedding photos in the future and perhaps some little minions ... (yes, I totally have little kids at home can't you tell?)

Any who, here is some fun black and white shots just because they were so much fun to work with.

The Wedding Session

The groom and best man were sharply dressed in their Tuxedos from Top Hat Formal

The maid of honor and brides maids wore dresses from Tara Kelly and J Bridal. Makeup and hair stayed flawless the entire time with much thanks to The Powder Room.

I am in love with these photos of the bride and groom. Something about these photos makes me think immediately of the song playing as Cinderella and Prince Charming dance and sing "So this is love ..." I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

What would a wedding be without cake?

Well in todays modern world there are actually quite a few weddings that opt for variations and I am not a huge fan of cake myself. However, after a few hours of shooting in the heat this gal was dying for something to drink and eat ... so lets eat cake! This was by far the most delicious cake I have ever had in my life! If you know what a foodie I am then you know this is serious business. I'd recommend looking at Ambrosia Cakes of Tucson before anywhere else!

The gorgeous florals in all the photos were provided by Alexis Grace Florals and the delicious macaroons you see below are from a place I like to visit each time I have a session near the campus. If you haven't tried macaroons from Woops! then you're missing out!

This gorgeous Je-taime styled session was hosted at the Carriage House and made possible by Plan Simply by CJ and Amanda Bynum Photography

So what do you think? I'm kinda putting myself out here and I want to hear what others think. Would you like to see more weddings from me or should I keep to my usual maternity-families? Leave a comment below and tell me what you think.

Xoxo Regina
